Many of you continue to ask how you can support us as we walk through these pages of our story. Here are some of the things to consider…and we are more than happy to entertain any of the creative ideas that you have!

{PRAYER & PROPHETIC}

Pray with belief! We believe we get to pray in many different ways…we ask that you will pray fervently and effectively for us. Pray with faith.Ask Him what He is doing and agree with what He shows you. Call in all the goodness of God as they come to mind…we believe we have authority to release peace, joy, hope, healing, perfect love, sound mind, unstoppable power, etc…any time!

Prayer & Prophetic Wall is in process! Every note you send, prayers you share, scriptures you let us know you are declaring, prophetic words God is giving you…they are being collected and assembled so we can have it front and center every day so we can agree with what God is doing and see the tapestry of God’s goodness coming together through the knitting together of His Church.

{WORSHIP}

This is how we fight our battles! We are a family of worshippers! So worship with us!

We worship Him out of gratitude for all He has already done.

We worship Him in the midst of the battle and declare He is good regardless of how it might feel in this moment.

We worship Him in declaration and gratitude of the victories that are coming…even before we see them or know what they will look like.

We worship Him because it’s a weapon He has given us to align with Him and with Heaven and to release His goodness into our now and our tomorrow.

So…worship!

{FINANCIAL}

I don’t like to talk about this part, but it is a very real need and God continues to point to the fact some of His provision for us in this season comes from our community. We trust absolutely that everything will be taken care of that is needed. If you are called to be a part of that in any way, we would be honored!

We are a family of small business owners. It’s hard on small businesses when you have to take time off of work. If you can point business our direction, it will not only help us need less assistance outside of our own income, it will also help to stabilize our businesses so there is margin if needed and provision in the event the outcome of this journey looks different than we hope. Beam Roofing and Construction: Roofing, gutters, pretty much anything associated with the outside of the house.Justin is still working as he can and Brenden has stepped away from worship school to pick up the slack with the business. The whole family is pitching in to help with pieces of the business so we can continue to have as much income as possible through his treatments.

Hyperdrive Digital: Hunter owns this business and it’s not only benefitting BRC, but he also set up this website for us to share all of this with you. Shalom Auto Body: Daniel’s family owns this shop in Stafford and he works there full time. They do mechanic and body shop work…best of the best!

Mae’s Music: Maegan owns her own business teaching music and performing live music. She comes to your home for student lessons making it easy to get quality lessons without the hassle. On top of music expertise, she is a great encourager and mentor for musicians and future worship leaders to grow in their gifts!

Experience Life Chiropractic: We do not own this one, but Kayden works here. Not only does it benefit her as this business succeeds, Dr Daryn is caring for our whole family through this process and we believe what he is doing to support Justin’s healing journey is a critical part of his healing. Ya’ll would not want to see what I would look like going through this all without my nervous system being regulated!

TSHIRTS

We have had a long time dream of making a small t-shirt company. Friends and family are helping us kick that off to not only help with financial provision, but to get people wearing shirts that bring others hope, encouragement, freedom and of course, laughter! There are a couple of designs to kick us off on this specific journey on this site…more ahead!

DONATIONS

Should you feel led to help in this way, there are lots of ways to give directly. Gas, tolls, parking, missed work, supplements, non-publishable costs…there are lots of unexpected expenses in our lives right now. We also have Samaritan Ministries as our health share plan vs traditional insurance. They have been wonderful, but one of the limitations of this kind of coverage is that since cancer treatment is considered elective (yep, it’s true), then we are at the mercy of billing department rules. Some spaces will allow payment plans, but we are finding most to not.

The entire radiation series that begins this Wednesday must be paid in full before they will do the first treatment. This is at a cash reduced price of just over $136,000. That does not include the discounted price of the MRI, SIM, consultations, and labs that we already paid in the last week totaling over 10K. While most of this will be reimbursed later in the summer, the cash flow is incredibly stressful.

And there is so much more to come including travel to see specialists, integrated medicine, non-sharable expenses that are critical to Justin’s care, etc…. Cancer is expensive. But God.

FUNDRAISING

If you have an idea of a fundraiser, hit us up! We believe there are lots of creative ways to help handle the cost of this journey and in the process, maybe we can share some of our hope and miracle-oriented mindset with others. We are open to all the ideas!

{PRACTICAL}

Come on over: If you get some extra time and wanna come help out in the yard or with some projects around the house, you are welcome! Paperwork, calls, pushing projects ahead…they move much faster and are much more enjoyable with company and a little bit of time with a personal assistant. We have a running list that is growing faster than we are checking things off from. There is always something to do and more than that, we also just love visits! We promise to tell you if it’s not a good time to get together. Please ask. We cannot live without our people!

Aspen: Thank you to those picking up carpool and helping Aspen not miss her events! The next 7 weeks are going to be very busy and she doesn’t want to spend her summer here alone, so please don’t hesitate to drop off her friends to hang here or pick her up to come along on your adventures. If your youth group has a fun event or something this summer, she would love to know about it. She also babysits! We will just be limited to get her from point A to point B for a while.

Breaks: If you want to kidnap one of us for a lunch or dinner or girls night out…or if you want to be a driver for Justin to an appt to get some time with him while I get some other things done, that would be helpful! The days are really long and tiring right now.

Quality Time: We need to make some memories with our family and friends while Justin is feeling well. Hopefully this will last several decades…but if this situation takes a turn, it could turn very quickly. So, we want to make the most of NOW.If you have creative ideas or want to set something up to do something memorable, let's do it!

Bucket List: I hate calling it that because of the implied outcome, but we shouldn’t wait for a diagnosis to take care of the dreams we have, so we will stick with it! We have a running list of ideas and things that Justin really wants to accomplish and experience. For example: He wants to have a fire pit gathering place in the backyard for story time, worship, connecting, quiet time with the Lord. If you want to be part of a project like this, let us know and we will start pulling triggers as soon as we have resources and manpower.

**Needs will ebb and flow and we will try to keep everyone updated but feel free to just ask or share an idea! We tend toward “no thanks, we are good” if you just say “do you need anything?” It is helpful for us if you instead say “I have time Thursday afternoon, what would be the most helpful to do for you then” or “pick a time in the next week and we are coming over” kind of offers.

{OTHER}

If you just want to brighten our day or give us a little extra encouragement or treat us with some self care that we are probably neglecting, here are some suggestions:

*Share your favorite feel good music…just a song or a playlist…we are music lovers!

*Know where to find some good live music? Sounds like a great night out with friends.

*Game nights are always a yes for us.

*Send us a text when you think about us. Even if it’s in the middle of the night. We love hearing from you even if we don’t always respond.

*Send us things for our prayer wall.

*Pedicure, massage, any form of relaxation or short escape is a welcomed luxury

*Edible treats: we are trying to support Justin by eating healthy as a family – doesn’t mean we won’t take a sweet treat here and there, but salsas, pickles, nuts, beef jerky, fruit, etc. are better overall right now than cookies.

*Look into The Quest Life if you have not already and consider going on a Quest. Consider partnering with this ministry. Our heart is always overjoyed to hear testimonies of how people's lives have been dramatically changed from encountering Him. With needing to not serve in person right now, my heart still wants to pour into this ministry and still see the fruit of freedom as we hear your QuestLife stories.
